| Marjan Rossen (1953) is the Project Manager of DIVERCITIES and is also Managing Director of the Department of Physical Geography at Utrecht University. She holds an MA in Social and Economic History (1980) and a PhD in the Humanities. She was Assistant Professor at the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen and at the Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam where she conducted research on social housing policies in the Netherlands. She has managed several large projects including Dutch culture in a European context (the first interdisciplinary project in Social Sciences and Humanities funded by the NWO (€5.000.000; 1991-1998); the research project The Multicultural Society (Project Manager Ad Interim, 1997); and the FP6 program INTAMAP. |

| Melissa Lee (1971) is the Communications Advisor of DIVERCITIES. She holds a BA in Communications from the University of Technology, Sydney (1996) and an MA (Honours) in Film & Television from the Australian Film TV & Radio School (2001). Her past roles include Head of Creative Services at advertising agency Amsterdam Worldwide and Senior Producer at the Spinifex Group in Sydney and Los Angeles. She has produced films, websites, events and other communications projects for high-profile brands, government agencies, broadcasters and arts organisations. Her projects have been recognised by various awards and accolades including a Sundance Documentary Fund and Fellowship in 2005. | |
