Local authorities vs. NGOs: How can we enhance the positive impact of urban diversity together? is the title of the Zurich team’s workshop at the upcoming Governing Urban Diversity Conference. We asked Walter Schenkel and Larissa Plüss about their aims for the workshop.
“With our workshop on the cooperation between NGOs and public authorities in a diverse environment, we want to translate our research results into practice and to stimulate an active and lively exchange of experience between the public and the private sector. With inspiring presentations and open discussions, we will tackle the problems and pitfalls that are frequently encountered in these interactions and aim to arrive at the most important factors of success for an effective, satisfactory and long-term cooperation between public and private partners.”
